Autumn, Winter, Summer. All seasons have been represented in literature, but perhaps none more so than Spring. The birth of nature has inspired numerous writers throughout the centuries, arguably feauring most prevalently in poetry, especially that of the Romantics.
Here is a quiz about Spring in literature.
Difficult quiz! I got 50%, and was slightly offended by the comment "Oh dear. Spring may be stirring outside, but inside your mind all is empty, bleak and wintry." Haha
ReplyDeleteIt is surprisingly hard! A 70% got the comment 'Well, I don't know how you spent the winter, but it wasn't dedicated to reading, was it?' A little harsh I feel :-)
